The Sims 4 has just revealed two new item packs will be dropping in the game later this week, called the Grunge Revival and Book Nook kits.

EA recently made it official that The Sims 4 will be receiving more bite-sized DLC packs instead of fans having to wait for major releases or pricey item collections.

While this news didn’t please all fans, especially those eagerly anticipating The Sims 5, others are relieved they won’t have to dig too deep into their wallets for fresh content.

With just over a month since the release of Greenhouse Heaven and Basement Treasures, The Sims 4 is already gearing up for the arrival of two more kits later this week.

The two new kits are called Grunge Revival and Book Nook and they’ll both become available on Thursday, June 1, on last and next generation consoles as well as PC and Mac.

Grunge Revival is a Create-A-Sim kit that draws its inspiration from the 90s, delivering a plethora of fashion items straight out of that era.

One of the images shared by EA shows sims wearing distressed jeans, vintage tees, and footwear reminiscent of Converse and Vans.

On the flip side, Book Nook is a Build Buy kit that takes a different approach by offering an array of fresh furniture pieces curated to help you create something of a reading sanctuary.

New additions include cozy sofas, window seating options, and stylish stackable bookshelves that will bring to life an ideal reading corner for bookworm sims.

Each kit will cost £4.99 whereas stuff packs usually cost £8.99 each – though they have more items in them.

The Grunge Revival and Book Nook, along with Greenhouse Heaven and Basement Treasures, were initially hinted at in a roadmap outlining the plans for the game from April to June, centered around the theme of home.

There’s not much information about what’s to come in The Sims 4 after these, but at least two more kits are definitely in the works.
