How and Where To Watch the Italian Open 2021?

Tennis will soon reach the Italian capital, Rome, for the Internazionali d’Italia, popularly known as the Italian Open. It begins on May 9 and will wind up by May 16.

On a happy note, fans will be allowed to attend these matches, unlike many of the tournaments that have taken place without audiences. As the Italian Open is an ATP Masters 1000 event and a WTA 1000 event, it will feature on lots of networks around the globe.

Where to watch the Italian Open 2021 in America and Canada?

North and South America

In North America, fans will have access to matches on the Tennis Channel. Both men’s and women’s matches can be viewed on this channel. In Canada, Rogers SportsNet will telecast the ATP matches of the Italian Open 2021, whereas TVA Sports will broadcast the WTA matches. However, TSN Sports will feature both the ATP and WTA matches. ESPN will show matches from both categories in the South America region.

Europe

In Europe, Amazon Prime Video will broadcast all the matches taking place as part of the ATP and WTA events in the United Kingdom. In the other countries of Europe, Eurosport will telecast the matches for the French viewership and Sky Sports (Sky Deutschland) will be handling the telecasting in Germany.

In Spain, Movistar and TVE will take care of the proceedings and in Italy, it will be Sky Sports (Sky Italia). Besides these, networks like Setanta and United Media will broadcast matches for the rest of Europe.

Africa

In the African region, Supersport and Canal + Overseas/Africa will handle operations. Viewers will be able to access both the WTA and ATP matches on the above-mentioned networks.

Italian Open 2021 matches in Australia and Asia

Matches in Australia will be broadcasted on beIN Sports. CCTV, Iqiyi, and SMG will provide viewers the opportunity to catch all the action in China. DAZN will telecast the WTA matches in Japan, whereas WOWOW, NHK, and Gaora Sports Channel will be taking care of operations of the ATP matches in Japan.

In India, only ATP matches will be broadcasted. Fans can subscribe to Tennis TV and also hop on to Tennis TV’s YouTube channel for selected matches.

Superstars like Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Serena Williams, and Naomi Osaka will be competing at the Italian Open 2021.
