90 Day Fiance: Colt Johnson and Vanessa Guerra get engaged on The Single Life

90 Day Fiancé stars Colt Johnson and Vanessa Guerra are engaged after Colt popped the question on Sunday’s 90 Day: The Single Life.

The pair have had a rocky past, to say the least, but the lovebird were all smiles after Colt, 35, decided to propose after one month of dating.

Taking to Instagram after the episode aired, Colt wrote: ‘The cat is out of the bag. I’m very happy to announce Vanessa @guerra_702 as my fiancé ♥️.

‘I can’t wait to see what happens next… 🤩🧐😏👀💍🔮’.

When Colt popped the question in the episode, Vanessa couldn’t hide her nerves as she pointed out that the couple still has a lot of things to work through.

‘We’re going to have problems throughout our entire life. I promise you we can work through them. I love you darling,’ Colt said in response.

Vanessa revealed she hadn’t been ‘expecting’ a proposal yet as she added: ‘I don’t feel like I’m that ready to get married yet. I really want to make sure this is someone I really want to spend the rest of my life with.’

She explained that she did want to get married to Colt ‘someday’ and asked if he would be willing to wait before they actually tied the knot.

Vanessa stated: ‘I want to marry you someday, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to. I really want to see that you’re consistent and that you’re not gonna f**k around. I want to make sure that this is you for good.’

He replied, ‘You’re worth it. I love you,’ before asking Vanessa once again if she will be his wife.

She finally gave him the answer he was hoping for as she replied: ‘Yes, I will be your fiancé!’

Colt was previously married to Larissa Dos Santos Lima, and their relationship was featured on season six of TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé.

The pair were married for less than a year before he filed for divorce after Dos Santos Lima was arrested for domestic battery.

In October 2020, Johnson admitted to having an ’emotional affair with his now-fiancée Vanessa during his rocky marriage to Larissa.

However, Colt started dating Jess Caroline after his divorce – who he also cheated on with Vanessa.
