Love Island is back for a 10th series, ready to serve up all the dramatic dumpings, bomshells and recouplings that fans have come to know and love.

Starting just three months after ITV’s winter Love Island – which saw teacher Kai Fagan and Casa Amor’s Sanam Harrinan take the crown – popular Maya Jama is also returning as host.

Maya and her showstopping outfits replaced Laura Whitmore in the winter series, which gave us lovable farmer Will Young, not to mention Tanya Manhenga’s swivelling head in a unforgettable Casa Amor.

Even so, ratings slumped for the winter series, which was filmed in South Africa, so producers will be hoping that the line up for the summer show – back in the Majorcan villa – will keep everyone hooked.

But what can you do if you’re out one night but desperate to catch up with all the goings-on round the fire pit?

Here’s how to watch Love Island on catch-up.

What time is Love Island available to stream?

Each episode of Love Island series 10 can be streamed on ITVX straight after it has aired – so for the launch show, that’s from 10.35pm tonight (June 5).

The show usually airs from 9pm-10.05pm but some episodes are longer – especially when there are recouplings, or the drama really kicks off.

ITVX also has all the episodes from every previous series available for free – that’s one way to make the commute go faster (if you have wifi or plenty of data).

So if you also want to re-live last summer’s winners Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti’s journey, or remind yourself of Shaughna Phillips’ iconic ‘Congrats, hun’ in 2020 after being dumped by scaffolder Callum Jones, they’re all there for the taking.

Watching ITVX with ads is free to download and use – but you can sign up for a seven day free trial of ad-free ITVX Premium which then costs £5.99 a month or £59.99 a year unless you cancel it.

Due to licence restrictions, ITVX is only available in the UK, but can be accessed abroad via a VPN.

Where can I watch Love Island live?

Love Island will air on ITV2 at 9pm tonight (June 5), straight after Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again and if you’re keen to watch live but can’t get to a telly, live streaming is also available on ITVX via the ITV website and the ITVX app.

So you can watch on mobiles and tablets with wifi/use your data.

The show will run for an hour and 35 minutes, and is followed by Family Guy.

It airs on weeknights and Sundays.

Love Island Aftersun will also return, with Maya Jama hosting from London as islanders are evicted.
