The voice of Big Brother, aka Marcus Bentley, is officially back for the highly-anticipated revival and fans are over the moon.

With AJ Odudu and Will Best officially confirmed as the new hosts after months of speculation, details over who will be making this year’s line-up are still under wraps.

Commentating the show since it first started in 2000, the voiceover artist, 55, has seen it all throughout the years – the tears, the wins and the tantrums the entire way from 2000 up until its last run on Channel 5 in 2018.

And if his latest Twitter post is anything to go by, it looks like we’ll be hearing ‘day one in the Big Brother house’ very soon.

‘Just a little bit of news over on TikTok I’m on @GMB early tomorrow @bbuk fans are the best and most loyal possible,’ he penned.

‘Thanks for all your support and I can’t wait for the shenanigans to begin x.’

Naturally fans were living for the news, with one person writing: ‘They can’t do it without you! You ARE Big Brother.’

Another added: ‘Great to have you back! Wouldn’t be the same without you!’

A third tweeted: ‘The iconic voice of Marcus is back for the return of Big Brother. Love it!’

Speaking about the show’s revival, Marcus previously enthused: ‘I was so excited. It’s such a big juggernaut of a programme and such a part of popular culture.’

‘I think the public were absolutely gagging for it to come back,’ he added.

Before he was confirmed to lend his voice for another series, he continued: ‘I just got goosebumps, because obviously it means a lot to me, and I’m a massive Big Brother fan, and I was just so excited.

‘The news was just what I was waiting for, so yeah, very excited.’

Host Will recently teased that the upcoming series will bring the ‘fun.’

‘It’s going back to being real people,’ he said.

‘The focus of this is it’s going to be an entertainment show, but it’s going to be fun and funny with all of that emotion and realness that you get with Big Brother,’ he added to The Sun.

The Big Brother reboot is set to launch on ITV2 and ITVX later this year.
