Naked Attraction is said to be one of the latest shows to be cancelled at Channel 4 due to budget constraints.

The late-night dating show, which sees six naked people gradually revealing their bodies from the feet upwards while a clothed person chooses who they want to date, has been on air since 2016.

The Anna Richardson-led programme has created many headlines over the years, with one recent episode seeing a married couple seeking a third person to join their relationship.

However, according to new reports in the Mail on Sunday, Naked Attraction has been canned in a bid to save money on the network.

Several popular shows on Channel 4 have been axed in recent weeks, including The Last Leg, Scared Of The Dark, Four Weddings, and Escape To The Chateau, leaving fans devastated.

Insiders claim the network will not make another series of the naked dating programme, which has been on air since 2016 (Picture: Channel 4)

One insider told the publication: ‘The casting team were already in place to start on Naked Attraction and were all told they were no longer needed as they were not making another series.

‘They tried to lessen the blow to the show’s freelance crew by saying they hope to make another series in December, but that doesn’t help them now.’

Earlier this week, The Last Leg host Adam Hills shared a brilliant one-liner in response to his panel show being cut.

The Australian comedian, 52, has fronted the programme since its launch alongside the 2012 Summer Paralympics and previously described it as ‘three guys with four legs talking about the week’ because he was born without a right foot and co-host Alex Brooker had his right leg amputated when he was a baby.

Taking to Twitter to address news of the show’s axe, Adam joked: ‘I mean, if ever there’s a show that can cope with losing a few bits, it’s ours.’
