I’m midsize and spent £700 on a mega Zara haul but hated everything – one dress was like paper & a skirt was see-through

A WOMAN has revealed that she spent £700 on a whopping Zara haul, but was left very disappointed when her new items arrived.

Ifeyinwa, a midsize fashion fan from London, thought she would be beaming with her new summer purchases, but in fact was left extremely gutted with the unflattering clothes.

She explained that one skirt was totally see-through, a dress felt like paper and a top made her look really wideTiktok – @byifeyinwa

While some of her Zara buys were see-through, there was one dress she claimed felt like paper.

Posting on TikTok under the username @byifeyinwa, Ifeyinwa tried on her new items and shared her thoughts.

She said: “I spent over £700 on Zara and everything’s going back.”

As she modelled the new purchases from her mega haul, she explained: “This dress was too short, this dress was too green, whatever that means, this dress was too big, I really like the colour though.

“This dress was just unflattering on me, these trousers were too short, this top, the sleeves were too short and it was also really unflattering.

“This outfit was made out of something that felt like paper, this top was too small, the skirt I actually kind of like, I’m still thinking about the skirt.

“This top I actually really think is so cute but I just don’t know if it makes me look wide, the shorts are too short.

“This top was too big, this skirt was too transparent.

“I don’t know what’s going on.”

Ifeyinwa shared her clip just two days ago, but it has clearly shocked many, as it has quickly amassed 41,800 views.

It has 1,443 likes, 71 comments, 66 saves and 9 shares.

Social media users eagerly flooded the comments, sharing their thoughts on shopping at Zara.

One person said: “Try Cos or Mango. Zara quality has dropped in the past few years while the price rises unsurprisingly.”

To this, Ifeyinwa replied “I absolutely agree with the quality vs prices issue. I will check out Cos and Mango thanks!”

Another added: “Shopping at Zara is a sport! I don’t know how the girlies do it!”

A third commented: “Girl, the outfits are cute! Have a few glasses of wine and try them on again..

“You’re being fussy.. I think. They look good on.. alter [or] whatever.”

Whilst someone else chimed in: “Sorry ma’am go and collect that white dress back. It looked stunning on you. I think you should put your hair up with it.”

Meanwhile, another Zara shopper claimed: “This is the Zara I know, everything fits weirdly.”
