Love Island fans are going wild for Maya Jama’s Aftersun look that they can pick up for £34

FASHION fans are racing to Shein to nab a close double for the iconic Maya Jama’s Aftersun outfit – but it sells for £5.4k less.

Our favourite reality TV show host Maya Jama stunned viewers this week with a figure-hugging designer dress in this year’s first Aftersun episode.

The ITV presenter, 28, looked incredible in a vintage Jean Paul Gaultier frock for the show’s first episode of season 10 of Love Island.

The star’s stylist Rhea Francois had opted for a £5,500 garment, called the “Cone Bust” Blush Peach Corset Dress.

The showstopper 1990s dress features corset detailing, a silk panel, as well as a metal zipper in the front bodice.

But whilst fans were totally obsessed with this look, the pricey dress is not the most affordable option, even when rented.

Luckily, the team at Japan-101 have reinvented Maya’s entire Aftersun look for as little as £34.49 – all from fast fashion retailer Shein.

For the dress, the style gurus found this Solid Ruched Bustier Cami Dress, a figure-hugging alternative in the shade apricot, perfect for creating the Maya’s enviable hourglass figure.

Selling for a mere £14.49, this elegant yet simple design is ruched with a spaghetti strap for flexible adjusting and a split thigh, perfect for summer.

Meanwhile, the experts also found a similar style of footwear to go with the outfit.

Here, the pros picked out Cross Strap Stiletto Heeled Mule Sandals also from the China-based brand, costing £17.00.

In colour khaki, these are a must-have open toe stiletto, mid heel height perfect for effortless strutting on a holiday or a date.

To accessorise, the 28-year-old wore a cross over golden ring on her middle finger, as well as some small textured golden hoops.

To complete the look, the fashion pros picked out Textured Hoop Earrings in gold available on Shein for £1.50 and a 1pc Structured Cuff Ring, also costing £1.50.

A spokesperson for Japan-101 said: “Major TV celebs often strive for the biggest, boldest look in order to make the headlines, and this often comes at a price.

“Whilst fans will aspire to look like a TV personality like Maya Jama, digging around online stores is a great way to recreate these looks without breaking the bank.

“Mules are a style that has made a recent comeback, being a favourite of fashion design houses like Gucci, it seems high street and e-commerce brands are following suit – offering a comfortable, yet stylish footwear choice perfect for the summer.

“Essentially, dressing like a high-profile celeb isn’t as difficult as it may seem, and searching for items with a similar description to the ones you are looking to replicate will help you achieve your desired look.”

SheinThe total costs of the outfit came to a little under £35, whilst the posh version of the dress was over an eye-watering £5.5k[/caption]
