A STYLING whizz has shared five tips on how to look like you’re loaded even when you’re anything but – and why something called the ‘sandwich method’ makes all the difference.

Looking elegant and classy often comes with a hefty price tag – but according to fashion pro, a woman named Anastazia, you can achieve the same effect without forking out a fortune.

The guru, better known to her 1.1million fans as @stazzylicious, took to TikTok where she explained how you can look expensive even on the tightest of the budgets.

Knitted dresses

The first trick she advised to do is shop for a dress – but not just any random dress, as there are so many styles on the high-street that look cheap.

Instead of buying a flimsy frock, the pro recommended purchasing a knitted dress.

”They always look more expensive in my opinion – and Zara always has good ones.”

Monochromatic look

When it doubt, put together a monochromatic outfit consisting of just one colour, such as black, white or beige.

”It always looks more put-together and black tends to look a lot more expensive.”

In her video, Anastazia demonstrated this with an all-black look that she had styled with black bottoms and a figure-hugging top.

Tailor your trousers

Oftentimes, nothing can ruin an outfit more that a garment that doesn’t quite fit right – and here, the blonde urged to tailor any ill-fitting clothes, particularly bottoms.

”Make sure you tailor your pants cause a tailored pant is always going to look more expensive when it’s hugging your body exactly how it should be.”

Hide your bra straps

”Another important tip is never have any bra straps showing – cause that will often make your look not as expensive.”

The sandwich method

Whilst sharing her favourite hacks, Anastazia also chatted about something she refers to as the ‘sandwich method’.

”For example, if you have a top in a certain colour, match it with your heels and you have a little sandwich going on with the colour in the middle.

”Trust me, you don’t need to dress expensive in order to look expensive – this whole look is under £80,” she said, rocking a pair of heels from ASOS, trousers from Zara and a knitted cardigan.
