Glastonbury Festival 2023 is just around the corner with thousands of music fans gearing up to descend on Worthy Farm for a weekend of incredible live acts.

This year’s five-day event will see Elton John, Arctic Monkeys, and Guns ‘N Roses headline with additional performances from the likes of Lizzo, Lana Del Rey, and Queens Of The Stone Age.

Tickets for the iconic festival are notoriously hard to get your hands on, and this year was no different with general sale tickets selling out in under an hour despite price rises causing uproar among buyers.

While some of us managed to purchase some during this year’s ticket resale, and others may be trying to gain entry for free, you can also tune into the festival from the comfort of your own home.

Not only will there be coverage available via Sky Arts, you can also tune into the Glastonbury Webcam to get right into the heart of the action.

How? Here’s everything you need to know.

If you’re hoping to watch the Glastonbury webcam this year, you can tune into the Glastonbury Webcam on the BBC website.

The world-famous webcam also allows viewers to watch what is going on at the Woodsies and Green Fields’ stages.

You can jump straight to the stage you want to watch using the ‘Hot Spots’ tab, which shows the stages on the festival site using little orange arrows, which you can click and immediately jump to.

The site also gives viewers the chance to take a trip down memory lane with the ‘Top Shots’ tab, which features a number of stunning shots from previous years.

Or, you can simply watch the camera pan across the sprawling fields in real-time and take in all the sites Worthy Farm has to offer. There is a circular arrow button that allows you to pause and focus on one spot, or simply let the camera pan.

You can also zoom in and out of the image to get as close to the sights of the festival as you want. Additionally, you can also make the webcam stretch to fill your screen.

A message on the BBC website reads: ‘Watch the world’s most famous festival grow with the BBC Glastonbury Webcam.

‘Our little camera on the barn brings you the most recent views of the Pyramid, Woodsies and Green Fields’ stages as the land around Worthy Farm transforms into a sprawling city of magical treats.’

The webcam is live now and will be available to watch for the entirety of the festival, however, as with all technology, it has in previous years gone down due to technical issues.

Glastonbury Festival 2023 returns to Worthy Farm from June 21 to 26.
