Billie Piper, Lily James and Dominic Cooper rock wax coat trend at Glastonbury as they lead celebrity sightings-Kitty Chrisp-Entertainment – Metro
The stars are out in Somerset.

Glastonbury 2023 has well and truly kicked off in style, and all the celebs – musical or not – are flooding (or should we say flying) into the Worthy Farm festival to get in on the action.
Yesterday was jam-packed with historic Glasto moments after an epic surprise set from Foo Fighters left crowds – which seemed to go on for miles – banging their heads, jumping up and down, and in a particularly emotional moment, chanting Taylor Hawkins’ name when Dave Grohl dedicated his final song to the band’s late drummer.
But that was just the tip of the iceberg, as the Arctic Monkeys lit up the Pyramid Stage for their much-anticipated headline set with bangers like Teddy Picker and the elusive Mardy Bum.
Elsewhere, Wizkid delighting fans on the Other Stage, and Carly Rae Jepsen had everyone jumping for joy with her catchy classic, Call Me Maybe.
While Holly Willoughby was spotted jumping into a helicopter (as you do) and zooming over to Somerset, other celebrities also enjoyed yesterday’s glittering lineup.
Actor Lily James looked super happy to be enjoying the rays and the tunes as she greeted pal and Secret Diary of a Call Girl star Billie Piper with a hug.

The pair wandered around the grounds hand in hand donning big excitable grins, with Lily wearing a cool black and green-laced mini-dress and what looked like a was Barbour jacket.
Billie oozed cool – as ever – in a fun blue-shirt and matching shorts, as she also wore a wax jacket, which was oversized and hung off her shoulders.
Meanwhile, Marvel actor Dominic Cooper wore a white T-shirt, cropped trousers, and yet another wax jacket (trend alert) as he strode over in some comfortable boots and a glorious sun hat to meet partner, Crazy Rich Asians star Gemma Chan.
Wax jacket number four then entered the building (or field) as Gemma kept it simple under the countryside garm with a T-shirt, a white mini-skirt, and Barbour wellies.

Thank goodness for Game Of Thrones star Maisie Williams, who bucked the trend with a sheer white bomber jacket, over a glorious subtly floral cream dress.
Queen Charlotte actor India Ria Amarteifio went for a double denim look over a black bandeau and absolutely rocked it with some Glastonbury-appropriate stomping boots.
Tonight, the legendary Guns N’ Roses will be headlining, and Lizzo will also be putting in a – what is sure to be iconic – performance on the Pyramid Stage just after Lewis Capaldi.
Meanwhile, Lana Del Ray is headlining the Other Stage, with Loyle Carne over atWest Holts, and Fatboy Slim will be bringing the bangers on Park Stage.
