Sophie Ellis Bextor fans have questioned why her Glastonbury set wasn’t shown during live coverage or uploaded to BBC iPlayer.

The singer, 44, wowed festival-goers at Worthy Farm on Sunday in a gold sequinned leotard and tasseled cape.

As her set was drawing to a close, she got the crowd pumped by getting the audience involved while she belted Heartbreak (Make Me A Dancer).

Viewers at home were unable to enjoy the performance after the broadcaster didn’t show her live, aside from 10 seconds of highlights alongside an interview with her.

Fans also noticed that her full set hasn’t been uploaded on the steamer website.

The musician responded to the mounting queries, tweeting: ‘I’m getting a lot of messages asking about watching my @glastonbury set on iPlayer. Obviously, that would have been wonderful, but sadly due to hours on the day it wasn’t possible for the BBC to cover my set. Next time…! Xx

However, fans were still not happy over the decision with one person branding it a ‘crime.’

‘I’ve been looking for it. Really disappointed,’ one person replied.

‘Thank you for tweeting this. Was looking forward to watching you. Big mistake,’ another added.

Asked if she gets nervous around major gigs like Glastonbury, the Murder On The Dancefloor star answers easily and confidently: ‘I don’t get nervous.’

‘It does this weekend as well,’ she reveals. ‘It’s on Sunday, the day we play.’

The singer, who is also set to play a sold-out show at London’s Lafayette on June 30, explains: ‘I don’t think it’s nerve-wracking because all we’re all having fun. I have a great band with me, I love what we do. I’ve had things go wrong so there’s not point in worrying about that, it’s out of my hands. I don’t really get nervous in that way.’
