Jenny McCarthy and Carmen Electra lather up for racy Skims shoot and it’s so 90s-Rebecca Sayce-Entertainment – Metro

Jenny McCarthy and Carmen Electra look simply jaw-dropping as they team up for a nostalgic photoshoot for Skims.

The nineties icons joined forces to promote the American shapewear company’s latest swimwear products, and they did so by lathering up for a classic car wash-themed shoot.

The duo, who starred alongside each other in 2005 rom-com Dirty Love, look incredible as they pose alongside a bright pink car covered in soap suds while wearing a black bikini top and bottoms from Skims.

Another photo shows Carmen, 51, in a one-piece swimsuit holding a guitar while cheekily winking at the camera on a mock magazine cover named ‘Red Hot Skims Summer,’ with headlines saying ‘Carmen Electra rocks in Skims Swim,’ and praising her ‘high voltage curves.’

Jenny, 50, appears on a similar mock edition while tucking into ice cream with the words ‘Flavour of the month: Jenny McCarthy is sweet on Skims Swim’ alongside her.

A video posted on the brand’s Instagram shows the beauties tangled in a pink hose while beaming at the camera, as well as covering themselves in soap suds while tossing their hair back and forth in a nostalgic car wash scenario.

The photos were shared on the Skims Instagram page, with one of the captions reading: ‘Back at full-throttle: Carmen Electra & Jenny McCarthy reunite in summer’s sexiest swim.’

Former Playmate Of The Year Jenny shared her excitement at being part of the campaign in a statement.

‘I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of Skims’ latest campaign,’ she said.

‘The energy on set was incredible, especially shooting alongside Carmen, who looks amazing! It felt like we were back in the ’90s, and years later we’re still having fun!’

In a statement of her own, Baywatch babe Carmen praised Jenny for the fun she brought to the shoot.

The brand, which sells shapewear and swimwear as well as other clothing items, was co-founded in 2019 by Kim Kardashian and Jens Grede.

Skims said in a statement that by choosing Carmen and Jenny as the faces of the campaign, they endeavored to ‘the essence of a sizzling, hot summer.’

‘This fun campaign celebrates the impact these women had on pop culture and their timeless appeal, reminding the world that confidence and sexiness cannot be confined,’ they continued.
