I wore Primark pyjamas to a Christening – everyone loves the look

A WOMAN wore her Primark pyjamas to a Christening and jazzed her outfit up with a hat and jewellery.

The sleepwear as dayware trend seems to be still going strong after celebrities such as Kim Kardashian and Gigi Hadid have been seen sporting nighties and underwear out in public.

The women shared the photo of herself on social media

The woman posted a photo of herself wearing the floral print pyjamas to a Facebook group, looking fashionable and managing to keep cool in the summer heat.

The blonde lady matched her eye-catching, colourful nightwear with a light tan hat and chunky bracelets.

She said she’d worn the outfit to a christening the previous week.

Many commentators waded in with admiring remarks.

One simply wrote: “You look lovely.”

While another added: “Lovely.”

Not everyone was entirely convinced with one person saying: “To me they look like pj’s.”

She posted the photo after another woman posted a picture of herself wearing the pyjama bottoms along with a sleeveless top in a similar turquoise colour.

Taking to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook the savvy shopper said her outfit was sorted for just £15.

She said: “Thank you to this group. That’s a holiday outfit sorted for £15. Primark PJ bottoms and managed to find a vest in the same colour.”

The high street store says the £12 trousers are ‘perfect when you don’t want to compromise on style or comfort.’

With a soft satin fabric you’ll get a nice airy freedom to move around unrestricted but the trousers do have an elastic waistband.

And although Primark says they are perfect for rest and rejuvenation, the fashion fan said she would be wearing them outside in the sun.

It seems there is debate running as to whether the trend was a hit or a flop, many argued they loved the idea and would be applying it themselves.

Others said they liked the trend but it had become so popular it could no longer be considered discrete.
