Love Island has been flooded with nearly 1,000 Ofcom complaints in just one week with viewers claiming several islanders are ‘bullying’ Scott Van Der Sluis.
Following last week’s explosive Casa Amor recoupling, the football player, 22, has been pretty down after Catherine Agbaje cracked on with Elom Ahlijah-Wilson.
During Sunday’s highly-anticipated Movie Night, Scott was forced to watch his former flame kissing Elom passionately and being supported by the other girls in her new relationship.
However, things took a savage turn after Leah Taylor exclaimed that the reason why Scott is currently single is because ‘ no one wanted him’ at Casa Amor, to which claimed that she hadn’t said anything in ‘four weeks’ of being on the programme.
While his fierce clapback was applauded by viewers, many have branded the last few episodes uncomfortable as it seems the majority ‘have a problem’ with the Welsh islander, and fans have even wondered if ‘something went down’ behind the scenes.
‘Every episode it’s Scott getting bullied it’s actually crazy,’ one person tweeted.
‘I hate that Scott has been gaslit into thinking he’s been causing problems in the villa when all he’s done is defended himself,’ another added.
957 viewers contacted the television watchdog over Scott’s treatment during Sunday’s Movie Night special.
Prior to this, 155 Ofcom complaints were recorded after Jess Harding was labelled a ‘mean girl’ for her treatment of Molly Marsh.

The drama erupted on the episode airing Wednesday, June 14, when Jess, 22, made several comments about musical theatre performer Molly behind her back, and later burst into tears when she was called out on her behaviour.
Molly had made it clear by that point that her intentions were to get to know Zachariah Noble, after her head turned from Mitchel Taylor.
But Jess wasn’t too keen on the way she went about things, and made it pretty clear.
At one point, the aesthetics practitioner pointed out Molly’s actions in the gym to the rest of the group, saying she’s ‘doing the most’.
Ella Thomas replied: ‘She’s not leaving Zach’s side today. She is obviously pretending that she just wanted to work out.’
Jess added: ‘She knows we’re talking about her. I don’t give a f***. Give a f***.’
