WandaVision actress Kat Dennings engaged to boyfriend Andrew W.K. just days after confirming romance

Kat Dennings has announced she is engaged to her boyfriend Andrew W.K. 

The WandaVision actress shared the happy news on social media Thursday with a photo of her engagement ring and another of her kissing the musician. 

‘Don’t mind if I do,’ she captioned the Instagram post. 

Kat’s celebrity pals rushed to congratulate the couple, with actress Brenda Song commenting: ‘Congrats!!!!’ with heart emoji. 

Colin Hanks also said: ‘Congrats!!!!’ while Tess Holliday joked: ‘Can’t wait to be a bridesmaid.’ 

It comes just days after Kat and Andrew confirmed they were dating after weeks of rumours.

Speculation about their romance began when Kat, 34, posted two pictures of the Andrew, 41, to Instagram with a heart emoji in the caption.

It’s believed Kat and Andrew, real name Andrew Wilkes-Krier, met earlier this year in Los Angeles.

However, the actress appears to have been a fan of his music for years as tweets she sent the Party Hard rocker going as far back as 2014 have emerged.

‘You are a tall drink of milk AWK,’ she wrote in one post.

In one Twitter post seven years ago, Kat reacted to a photo of Andrew posing with a fan and commented: ‘You are a tall drink of milk AWK.’ News of their romance has come as a surprise to fans as it was believed that Andrew was still married to wife Cherie Lily. 

However, In a press release for his new single I’m In Heaven, Andrew’s team said his and Cherie’s divorce proceedings began in late 2019. 

Meanwhile, Kat’s most high-profile relationship was with singer Josh Groban, who she began dating in 2014 after being introduced by Beth Behrs. However, the couple split amicably in 2016.
