Jennifer Lopez ‘in daily contact’ with Ben Affleck after they were spotted together in Montana
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are reportedly keeping in touch regularly after they were spotted in Montana last week.
The two have gone their separate ways after they were spotted together in the state but a source told People they are talking regularly.
They said: ‘[Jennifer] is in touch with Ben every day. They are making plans to see each other.
‘Jennifer is still very excited about how things are going with Ben.’
Jenny from the Block, 51, is also ‘spending times with her kids in Miami’ and ‘working, too’.
The singer was seen with actor Ben, 48, near a resort in Big Sky, Montana last week as she sat in the passenger seat of his car.
The musician was said to have had a ‘great time’ with the Hollywood film star and that she is ‘happy and enjoys spending time with him’.
The pair arrived back in Los Angeles on Saturday after flying in on a private jet.
It emerged Bennifer was spending time together last month after he visited J-Lo at her home in Los Angeles numerous times following her split from Alex Rodriguez in April.
Ben and Jen previously dated in the early 2000s, and got engaged in 2002.
However, they went their separate ways before Jen married singer Marc Anthony in 2004.
The Batman star had reportedly been picked up a number of times in a white Escalade belonging to his ex, before travelling to her LA mansion.
The pair had not previously been spotted together but an insider told Page Six: ‘Security picks him up at a nearby location and drops him off after spending a few hours at her house.’
Sources close to the former couple vowed they have always been close, insisting: ‘They are friends … they’ve never not been.’
Jennifer and former fiancé Alex announced their split earlier this month, weeks after speculation of trouble in their relationship.
In a joint statement released to Today.com, the pair said: ‘We have realised we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so.
‘We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children.
‘Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.’
Metro.co.uk has contacted representatives for Jennifer and Ben for comment.
