Persona 6 not PS5 exclusive – coming to Xbox ‘day one’ says rumour-Michael Beckwith-Entertainment – Metro

The latest Persona 6 rumour says it will launch for Xbox after all, but there’s no mention of it being added to Game Pass straight away.

While Persona fans have the Persona 3 remake and a new Persona 5 spin-off to look forward to, Atlus has remained silent about the inevitable Persona 6.

The only info fans really have to go on are rumours of a 2024 announcement and that it will launch as a timed PlayStation 5 exclusive.

Another rumour, however, contradicts the latter, as it’s instead claimed that Persona 6 will be available on Xbox from day one.

This comes courtesy of XboxEra’s Nick ‘Shpeshal’ Baker, a frequent source of Xbox rumours, having been among the first to allege that Microsoft was trying to get the Persona series on Xbox Game Pass – a detail that was corroborated over a year later.

Baker’s anonymous source doesn’t mention anything about a release date for Persona 6, nor whether it will be available on Game Pass at launch. You can hear his claims in the video below from the 1:31:42 mark.
