I got loads of ASOS wedding guest dresses but it was a disaster – one made me look like a napkin & that wasn’t the worst

A FASHION fan was left looking like a napkin and a massive bogie after forking out for wedding dresses from ASOS.

Shopping online can either be a win… or a total disaster – and sadly for Holly Morridge, it was the latter, after fast fashion retailer ASOS let her down big time.

Sadly for Holly, the ASOS haul was a big fat fail, with this dress reminding her of curtainsInstagram/hollymorrisss

Unfortunately, the shopper was also not a fan of this frock, as she reckoned it looked like a napkinInstagram/hollymorrisss

Ahead of a wedding she had been invited to, the style enthusiast had decided to have a little browse on their website, where she soon spotted a number of dresses.

Once monster haul had arrived, Holly shared the results of it, as well as her honest reaction, on Instagram – and it was a roller coaster of emotions.

Things were already off to a bad start when Holly tried on the first outfit of the bunch – a stunning blue dress with pleated detailing and a halter neck.

”I think this looks like I think I’m getting married,” she chuckled in the clip, adding it was giving ”napkin” vibes.

”This is like a bib,” she noted before putting on the following item – a jaw-dropping maxi dress in yellow with various cut-outs around the bust area.

But not only was the shopper barely able to do the zip up, she was also mortified upon checking out her reflection in the mirror.

”Oh my God, this is bad… I could have made this in textiles – and I couldn’t make anything in textiles.”

Whist shopping on the site, Holly had also picked up a chic figure-hugging bardot dress with an in-built corset to snatch her waist.

But sadly this, too, proved to be a total flop, as the olive green colour made the fashionista look like a ”massive flat-chested bogie”.

”I’m like a chopping board, you can actually chop potatoes in this,” Holly said.

”I could just really get a boob job – but I just feel like I don’t have the time really between now and the end of August.”

Luckily, it wasn’t all negative, as the next outfit – a classy satin dress in hot pink – was ”fine” and Holly reckoned she could even ”be on board” with it, as long as the price was okay.

It all took a sharp turn when the wedding guest jumped into one of the final numbers – a cute ruched bodycon dress with a dainty floral print.

”What the hell was I thinking when I ordered this? In what world was this gonna be good?

”I look like the curtains in your great aunt’s conservatory,” the mortified ASOS shopper said, describing the overall look as a ”big floral toe”.

Unfortunately for Holly, the final outfit of the unsuccessful haul didn’t improve the situation either, as she reckoned the vibrant forest green frock as more fit for a prom.

”I look like the Statue of Liberty,” she joked, posing with the maxi dress that also had a trail.

”How am I meant to live laugh love under these conditions,” she went on in the caption.

”I either look like a try hard or an overgrown toddler or both.”
