Sam Asghari and Britney Spears‘s relationship has come to an end after 14 months of marriage, and celebrities including Octavia Spencer and Pink have shown their support for the songstress.

Actor Octavia, 53, made her opinion clear on an American publication’s Instagram, with a scathing comment.

She wrote ‘Extortion is illegal’ underneath a post from Page Six that had the headline: ‘Sam Asghari threatening to release ‘extraordinarily embarrassing Britney Spears info if prenup is not negotiated.

This isn’t the first time Octavia has thrown in her two cents.

When Britney, 41, announced she was engaged on Instagram in September 2021, the Hidden Figures actor Octavia commented ‘Make him sign a prenup’.

Although she later privately apologised for the remark to the couple, and publicly on Instagram.

Pink paid tribute to Britney during a show in Michigan, USA.

The singer performed her hit single Don’t Let Me Get Me, but decided to change the lyrics in a meaningful way.

In the second verse, Pink, 43, usually sings ‘Tired of being compared to damn Britney Spears’. However, during the performance two days ago she switched it to ‘sweet Britney Spears’.

A clip was shared online by some concertgoers, and was widely praised with one fan calling Pink a ‘class act’.

Paris Hilton also seemingly showed her support in a more understated way.

Britney shared an image of herself riding a horse around the same time speculation about her relationship being over began.

She wrote: ‘Buying a horse soon!!! So many options it’s kinda hard !!! A horse called Sophie and another called Roar I can’t make up my mind !!!

‘Should I join the camaraderie and put a pink cowboy hat on ??? Either way I think I found my sweet spot with Roar’.

The photo was liked over 400,000 times and one of those likes came from Paris, 42.

Britney’s ex-husband Kevin Federline who is also the father of her two children Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden, 16 ‘wished her the best’.

In a statement through his lawyer to Page Six, Kevin said: ‘He just hopes that everything works out for the best, whether that’s being together or not being together.

‘He wishes her the best.’
