I wore flowy shorts to class – I’ll never do it again, another student pointed out an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction
A STUDENT has revealed that she served a look that may have been a little too hot for academia.
A fellow classmate, however, saved the day when she warned her of the wardrobe issue, saying her flowy shorts showed her backside.

Madeline Oldweiler (@mao.tao) recounted the mortifying experience in a video on TikTok.
“I have to just share my experience, just happened to me on my way back from class.
“So I’m walking back from class just wearing my Free People shorts. OK, and they’re a little flowy. You could say they’re flowy.
“This is them,” she said, panning the camera on her light orange shorts. “They’re very flowy, right?”
She shared that while walking to class, a fellow college student pointed out a style issue.
“I’m walking my backpack on, just heading back from class,” she added. “And this girl comes up to me and she’s like, ‘Hey, your shorts are in your backpack and I can see your, let’s just say, fanny.’”
Madeline took the comment in stride, expressing gratitude for the stranger pointing out the issue.
“I was like, thank you so much. So if anyone saw my fanny on the strip, thank you. You know what? Shout out to this girl for being sweet. Love you.
“But just now, I’m thinking about how many people saw my fanny on the way back from class. Love it. I’m embarrassed,” she said.
Madeline also vowed never to wear the offending shorts ever again.
“I’m so embarrassed but shout out to this girl she was so nice,” she added in the caption. “I will never wear these shorts to class again.”
