Primark divides opinion with their latest onesie range – so would you want to dress as a Teletubby?

EVERYONE loves a good onesie, and they’re perfect for cuddling up in when it’s cold outside.

And while Primark has been the go-to shop for many people thanks to their wide range of onesies and Snuddies, their latest offering has drastically divided opinion.

Roisin was one of the first to draw attention to the new Teletubbies onesies, after spotting them in her local Primark.

The fluffy onesies come in purple, green, yellow and red – the Teletubby colours – and feature the characters’ unique symbols on the hoods.

They come in at £24 each.

And people in the comments section of Roisin’s TikTok video were quick to voice their opinions on the colourful clothes.

“And this is one of the reasons I’m so glad I handed my notice in at primark,” one wrote.

“If someone comes to my till trying to buy this I’ll actually refuse,” another said.

“There is absolutely no need for anyone to own this.”

“Stop! If I see them at work I will cry,” a third admitted.

But others insisted they were desperate to get their hands on one, with many saying they’d be great Halloween outfits.

“I WANT ONE,” one person said.

“Primark trip pending omg,” another laughed.

“I have the purple one,” a third added.

“Super super comfy and def oversized, would recommend at least 1 size down if u can & u want it.”

Staff at the Primark store in Carlisle, Cumbria, also took to TikTok to share a video of themselves modelling the onesies.

They all jumped out from different areas of the store as they danced along to the theme tune of the children’s classic show.

“This is the scariest thing Primark has ever done,” one person said in the comments on that video.

As another added: “£24 for Primark is wild!”

But someone else admitted: “I ran as soon as I found out. I am now a la la.”

Meanwhile, Louise shared pictures of the Teletubbies onesies in her local store on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook.

“Tempted to get 1 of each,” she added in the caption.

And once again, opinions were hugely divided in the comments section.

“I cannot express to you just how much I need this,” one wrote.

“I’m going po. Was always my favourite as a kid,” another laughed.

“I am definitely getting one,” a third said.

“THIS IS WHERE IM NOW GOING TOMORROW HAHAHAHAHAHA this is the best thing ever,” someone else commented.

But others hated them, with one writing: “Nooooooooooooo nooooo noon errrrrrrr nooooo.”

“Seriously?” another asked.

As a third commented: “Not a chance!”

Others were thinking of where they could wear the onesies, with hen and stag nights, Butlins and even the school run all mentioned.
