Josh Taylor Reveals Taking “Goods Bits of Advice” from Tyson Fury

In just a few months, both Josh Taylor and Tyson Fury can become the unified title holders of their respective divisions. The British pugilists, who have their fights officially booked, appear ready to embrace the career-defining moments of their boxing careers.

Josh Taylor’s title fight against Jose Ramirez will happen first on May 22. While we are just a few days away from seeing the 140 lbs unification matchup, ‘The Tartan Tornado’ revealed that he has been picking Tyson Fury’s brains.

Taylor connected with the bonuscodebets.co.uk and said, “He’s been giving me little bits of advice, stuff he thinks I could do and things that could work in the fight. He’s been giving me some really good bits of advice.”

Despite the advice, Jose Ramirez can still bring a lot to the table for Taylor. Boasting the WBC/WBO belts and a record of 26-0, he is equally matched with Josh Taylor. While both men are apparently in an active training camp, Ramirez will have his fair chances to win.

Besides working on his drills, ‘The Tartan Tornado’ is also working on his focus. This could hold him in good stead this weekend.

The super-lightweight title unification fight will take place this weekend at the Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas, Nevada. Thus, Taylor has flown down to the USA from his home country.

While he continues to take advice from Tyson Fury, Taylor isn’t leading the same lifestyle as ‘The Gypsy King’. He revealed that he stayed away from parties and other distractions ahead of the Jose Ramirez bout.

“We made the decision to rent the house away from hotels and the strip, so there’s no distractions. We’re being very professional and taking care of business. We are out here taking things very, very seriously,” said Taylor.

The fight will be important for the entire 140 lbs title ride. The result will set the ball rolling for several other matchups in the light welterweight division, including Taylor’s wish of moving up and facing Terence Crawford.
