Rafael Nadal Partners With Babolat and Kia Motors to Auction Valuable Items

Rafael Nadal recently won the Italian Open for a record 10th time. On the court, he has returned to top form, and off the court with the help of his partners, Nadal is auctioning multiple items to raise money for his foundation.

The Rafael Nadal Foundation and Nadal’s primary sponsors, Kia Motors and Babolat have teamed up with Charity Buzz to auction a full package of various items worth close to $10,000. Babolat had created a limited-edition bag that features drawings of Nadal from the children associated to his foundation. That bag is one of the many items in the auction package.

The auction is to commemorate Nadal’s 20th Grand Slam triumph in 2020. Hence Babolat will be producing only 100 of those limited edition bags as Kia Corporation will sponsor all expenses paid tickets to the Australian Open 2022.

“This year, to celebrate Rafael Nadal’s record-equalling 20th Grand Slam title, Kia Corporation and Babolat have partnered to create 100 limited-edition bags to champion the King of Clay’s movement on court”

What is there in the whole auction package other than the limited edition Rafael Nadal bag?

The bag will be a collector’s item as only 100 will be produced worldwide. Furthermore, the whole auction package includes, a signed racquet from Rafa, two tickets in Rod Laver Arena for the final two days of Australian Open. Moreover, two-night accommodation and round-trip airfare are also in the package.

“In addition, this prize includes an all-expenses paid trip to watch the Grand Slam action at Australian Open 2022 at Melbourne Park on behalf of, including x2 tickets to the Tournament, as well as flights and accommodation, giving you the opportunity to take in the full Grand Slam experience.”

The bidding has begun and will continue until May 28th, 03:00 pm EDT. The minimum bid is $2500. And the money collected in the auction will be given to Rafa’s foundation.
