Fashion fans mortified by noughties-style jacket which is making a comeback – but some say they’re desperate to wear it
STYLE lovers have been left totally horrified after spotting an ‘infamous’ jacket in stores again – however, some fashionistas cannot wait to rock it.
The noughties and the period between 2010 and 2016 were an interesting period for fashion to say the least – from dresses over jeans to disc belts, we sure made some questionable pairings.

However, whilst some trends should definitely remain a thing of the past, it looks like some ghosts are back here to haunt us once again – and unfortunately, the so-called green army jacket has hit stores this season too.
The person who stumbled across this was fashionista Kaelin Wieland, from Ohio, the USA, who took to TikTok to inform others.
”Not the infamous green jacket from 2014,” she wrote in the now-viral video.
”This jacket with the stripped tee under it.. .”
According to the shopper, she had found the jacket whilst browsing the latest collection in a Target store.
Just like back then, the jacket came with a string detailing around the waist, a rich khaki tone, two pockets, and of course, the famous high collar with buttons.
Mortified, over a thousand social media users raced to comments in sheer disbelief, with one writing: ”With a striped tee, leggings, boots and an infinity scarf, maybe even one of those baggy beanies.
”Absolute vibe.”
Someone else chimed in: ”This was Coachella 2016.”
A third chuckled: ”it’s giving twilight.”

However, the opinion appeared to be divided, as some were quite pleased to hear the news and said they were eager to style the autumn staple again.
”Mine is still in the wardrobe patiently waiting,” a fashionista wrote.
”The jacket that never dies. I still have mine,” someone else added.
”I feel like every fall there is some type of green cargo utility jacket out.”
Speaking of horrific trends making a comeback, style fanatics also recently spotted another fashion crime that is giving them major ”Peter Pan” vibes – slouch boots.
One shopper, Erin Miller, was lost for words when she made this shocking discovery, immediately taking to TikTok to show it to others.
”When you see *this* while out shopping,” she wrote in the video posted on her social media page, @overthemoonfaraway.
Zooming into the black boot she had stumbled across in the shop, Erin appeared stunned and trying to figure out what she was seeing.
”Devastating news.”
TikTok users raced to share their thoughts, as one cried out: ”Not the Peter pan boots.”
”Not the Robin Hood 3000s,” another person felt sick to their stomach.
”You know what’s coming next don’t you?? …. BOOTS WITH THE FURRR [sic],” a style enthusiast was convinced.
Since being shared on the platform, the video’s racked up over 1.4million viewsTikTok/thekaelinrae
