I went to the world’s biggest Primark and it was TOO huge, it was daunting – there was even a beauty salon & a Greggs
A WOMAN who paid a visit to the world’s biggest Primark has admitted it was “too big”.
Jay and girlfriend Harley hit up the Birmingham store as a hotel they stayed in was just 20 minutes away.

And as the shop holds the Guinness World Record for being the world’s biggest retail store – at 160,000 square feet spread over five floors – they couldn’t resist a quick trip.
Heading into the store, Jay explained “where the f**k do you start?” as she saw the amount going on in the shop.
“We started in the men’s section which is always a bad idea because you can never have too many oversized T-shirts,” she said.
“We did a loose browse of the men’s section and I didn’t pick anything up, so we’re going up to women’s.
“I feel like it’s homeware that’s going to get me, that’s always the case.”
She was quite impressed with the offerings in the women’s section, picking up a pair of combat trousers from Rita Ora’s range, as she praised the singer for “doing bits” for Primark.
She also got a jumper and a checked blazer, as well as a satin black maxi skirt that she’d been looking for for ages.
The pair then headed up the escalator to their next stop, as Jay said: “I may go as far as saying this shop is too big. There’s too much!”
Harley was thrilled to find there was a Greggs in the store, and they had a quick look in there before heading up to homeware, where they picked up some Christmas decorations for their office.
While Harley guessed that their haul had come to around £75, the actual bill was £90, which Jay insisted “wasn’t bad” for everything they’d picked up.
In the comments, Jay quickly found that she wasn’t the only one to have complained that the store was too big.
“Always feel like I want to pass out every time I’m there,” one wrote.
“It’s way too overwhelming in that primark it’s soooo big!!!” another added.
“I always get overwhelmed in there and end up getting nothing,” a third commented.
“I always try to enjoy this primark when I go but it’s so overwhelming cos it’s so big,” someone else said.
