Proud bargain hunter shows off 50p Christmas dresses and pjs from Asda but that’s not what’s got people talking

A PROUD bargain hunter has shown off her huge sale clothing haul, but it’s not the stunning Christmas dresses and pyjamas that have got people talking.

Savvy shopper Lucy Miller was left stunned when shopping in her local Asda, in Harrogate, when she spotted that children’s festive pyjamas and dresses had been slashed down to just 50p each.

Thrilled with her cheap purchases, the money-saving shopper took to social media to show off her finds.

Sharing her post on social media, on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a private Facebook group with a staggering 2.3 million members, Lucy shared a snap of her Tesco bargains, alongside a caption that read: “All 50p each! Asda Harrogate.

“RRP £65, bought for £3.50.”

Lucy was lucky enough to nab four sets of ‘Merry Moments’ Christmas pyjamas, as well as three beautiful dresses, all with a pair of tights.

Two of the dresses were a beautiful red gingham, perfect for a little darling on Christmas Day, whilst the other was a red polka dot with a pretty reindeer and snowflake scene.

Lucy later explained: “The price tag underneath says £7, [I] was gobsmacked!

“The red and white dress was £14!”

She also explained: “I have got all these to donate to my local Rainbow Centre.”

Despite saving a staggering £61.50 on her haul, Lucy then commented three feet emojis, as she added: “Soz didn’t realise”, referring to her toes that she accidentally got in the picture.

Lucy shared her post just 15 hours ago, but it has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 430 likes and 143 comments.

Social media users were left stunned at Lucy’s cheap purchases and many were eager to express this in the comments.

One person said: “No way, I just paid full price for that dress.”

Another added: “Wow that’s belting.”

A third commented: “Brilliant buys!”

Whilst someone else claimed: “Last year’s stock, well done on your bargains.”

However, at the same time, more people were concerned that Lucy’s toes were in her snap.

One user wrote: “Nice toes.”

A second shared: “Great find! But I’d die if I uploaded a pic and my feet were in it.”

Whilst someone else tagged a friend and simply penned: “Toes.”
