Simon Cowell flashes a claw on sunny cycle with Lauren Silverman months after breaking back in bike accident
Simon Cowell flashed his best claw impression as he enjoyed a lowkey bike ride with partner Lauren Silverman, in California.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge was spotted enjoying a sunny day as he cycled on the streets of Malibu this week.
Just months after the 61-year-old had a nasty accident on an electric bike, he was all smiles for the day out, and happily posed for pictures while riding.
At one point, he lifted his hand to claw for a picture, as Lauren rode beside him.
The music mogul rocked a black T-shirt and a a puffer jacket for the trip, completing his look with sunglasses and white shorts.
Lauren followed the casual memo with a black jacket and jeans, paired with flip-flops and a bright green helmet.
Simon is getting back to full fitness following his terrifying accident last year, which saw him break his back after falling off an electric bike.
He needed six hours of gruelling surgery last summer, and was forced to pull out of his TV commitments for the rest of the year to recover.
After the accident, the TV talent judge tweeted: ‘Some good advice… If you buy an electric trail bike, read the manual before you ride it for the first time.
‘I have broken part of my back. Thank you to everyone for your kind messages.
‘And a massive thank you to all the nurses and doctors. Some of the nicest people I have ever met. Stay safe everyone Simon.’
It seems Simon spent his much-needed time off dreaming up a string of new projects, as close pal Sinitta teased he had been working on a revamped version of the X Factor.
Appearing on a recent episode of Good Morning Britain, hosts Susanna Reid and Adil Ray asked the So Macho singer what his plans are.
‘He’s working on a revamped X Factor, I’m not sure if it’s gonna be this year or next year,’ she replied.
When questioned whether she would be making a return to our screens with the star, she decided to play it coy, adding: ‘That’s the big part of it isn’t it? I’ll start pestering him now and see what happens.’
We’re already excited.
