I did a massive H&M haul – I know it’s a little early for holiday outfits but I couldn’t help myself with a matching set

THINKING about upcoming holiday parties and family gatherings, one fashion girl turned to H&M in search of festive outfits.

Her haul included chunky sweaters and elevated basics.

When it came to shopping for the season at H&M, the style guru Allyson Hovious (@allyhovious) was too excited to hold back.

“I know it might be a little early for holiday outfits but I couldn’t help myself,” she admitted in the video’s caption.

The first piece the fashion lover tried was a $50 cropped red puffer jacket.

“I would say it runs very true to size and I do love where it hits – I thought it was going to be a little more cropped, but this hits at the perfect spot.

“I really like this.”

She moved on to a $35 turtleneck sweater next.

“I like how it’s kind of a batwing sleeve.”

While sweaters with thick turtlenecks don’t usually look good on her because of her “short neck,” she felt better about this one.

“When I fold it over I feel like it hits at a really good spot.”

Sticking with sweaters, she tried on a $35 striped one in a size XL for a baggier look.

“I think it’s really cute.”

For a dressier fit, she slipped into a $25 grey square-neck top.

“If I have a strapless bra on with this, I will absolutely love it. I feel like it’s a good elevated basic, like the square-neck makes it kind of different.

“It’s a keep I think.”

And taking it up a notch further, she tried on a $58 red blazer and $30 matching skirt set that would be perfect for a Christmas Eve party.

“[The blazer] does have shoulder pads which makes it look more structured.

“I absolutely love this set.”

Although it was a bit snug for her, she said it was an overall win.

To accessorize, she clipped her hair up with a $10 fun red bow.

“I just think these are so precious, and they kind of just tie any outfit together. I really like this.”

Viewers praised her looks.

“Oooo the red blazer set is so good,” one wrote.

“LOVE ALL,” praised another.
