Sandra Bullock has been seen in public for the first time since the tragic loss of her partner.
The actress, 59, was left devastated in August when her long-time partner Bryan Randall died at the age of 57.
His family confirmed the sad news in a statement, explaining that he died after being diagnosed with ALS – a type of motor neuron disease – several years ago.
‘It is with great sadness that we share that on August 5, Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS,’ the photographer’s loved ones said.
‘Bryan chose early to keep his journey with ALS private and those of us who cared for him did our best to honor his request.
‘We are immensely grateful to the tireless doctors who navigated the landscape of this illness with us and to the astounding nurses who became our roommates, often sacrificing their own families to be with ours.’

They added: ‘At this time we ask for privacy to grieve and to come to terms with the impossibility of saying goodbye to Bryan.’
Sandra – who met Randall in 2015 – has kept a low profile since his death.
But, new photos show the Oscar-winning star out in Brentwood, running errands with her daughter Laila and her bodyguard Peter Weireter.
The Ocean’s 8 star cuts a casual figure, wearing black baggy trousers, a white tee, and a beige coat.
Sandra wears glasses and appears to be wearing minimal make-up, while also carrying her essentials in a cross-body bag.

Sandra adopted her daughter through foster care, with Laila just two-and-a-half at the time.
Prior to living with Sandra, she had already been through three foster care systems and endured a tough upbringing, with Sandra previously sharing how she had to take parenting classes about caring for a child with trauma before bringing Laila home.
The Blinde Side actress is yet to speak out on the death of her partner.

However, reports back in the summer said she was ‘grateful’ for the love she had received from fans.
An insider explained at the time how happy she was that there had been an increase in awareness of – and donations towards – organisations helping those with ALS.
They told People that the Hollywood icon had ‘seen the incredible outpouring of support’ for her and her family.
‘It was very important to her that when she and his family made the initial statement of Bryan’s passing, those who were on this journey with her and Bryan, from the beginning, were recognised – with the Healey Center at Mass General leading the way.

‘She is so grateful to all those who have donated and is happy that out of something so heartbreaking came something so positive for others.’
It was later said that Sandra had plans to scatter her late partner’s ashes in the Bahamas, having exchanged vows at an intimate ceremony at the Three Bees on Harbor Island in 2017.
