Declan Donnelly has been captured puckering up for a smooch with his wife a few days before hosting duties for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! commence.

This weekend, the latest season of the long-running reality series will hit screens, with 12 famous faces set to enter the jungle in Australia.

Among them are This Morning’s Josie Gibson, former politician Nigel Farage and Britney Spears’ younger sister Jamie Lynn.

While the campmates are currently undergoing quarantine ahead of cameras starting to roll, host Declan has been soaking up the sunshine alongside his family, who have also joined him Down Under.

During their latest family trip out, Dec, 48, leant in for a kiss from wife Ali, 44.

However, the cameras seemed to capture the cute moment at a slightly awkward time, just as Dec started pursing his lips for the pash.

The couple, who have been married since 2015, were joined on the outing by their two children – daughter Isla, five, and one-year-old son Jack.

However the family were also photographed right outside a butcher, which seems a bit ironic considering the meat dishes the I’m A Celebrity contestants are set to be served in the coming weeks.

While Dec and his wife may have been picking up some items for a BBQ, there’s a slim chance they would have had the option to source some of the more interesting foods the famous faces will be forced to chow down on.

In past seasons campmates have sampled a bull’s penis, a lamb’s brain, witchetty grubs, fish eyes and kangaroo anus.

As he made his way through arrivals at Brisbane airport earlier this week, Ant told The Sun he was raring to go.

‘I’m really excited. It’s a great cast,’ he said.

‘It’ll be nice to be reunited with Dec, he’s been on his holidays. It’ll be nice to see Dec’s white lines and tan marks!

‘We will run towards each on the beach with open arms.’

His co-host Ant McPartlin, 47, has also arrived Down Under, but his wife Anne-Marie has remained back in the UK to care for her two daughters.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! returns on Sunday at 9pm on ITV1.
