Matthew Perry is making the most of the Friends reunion episode buzz – he’s releasing limited edition merch featuring Chandler Bing’s most memorable quote.

The Friends special is set to air on HBO Max in the US on May 27th and the actor, 51, is selling some merchandise inspired by the comedy.

The American star shared a picture of himself on Instagram in a sweatshirt with ‘could I be more me?’ emblazoned across the front.

Referencing the take on Chandler’s iconic saying, Matthew wrote: ‘Could I BE More ME? I’m releasing a new limited edition merchandise collection only available for three weeks.

‘Get yours in the link in my bio so people will know just how “you” you are.’

The funnyman previously released a t-shirt with lookalike image of his character dancing on the front above the words: ‘Could this BE any more of a t-shirt.’

The shirt was on sale for two weeks and proceeds went towards the World Health Organisation’s Covid-19 relief efforts.

It’s been 17 years since the final episode of Friends aired, with Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston) dramatically getting off the plane and Chandler and Monica Geller (Courteney Cox) becoming parents to twins.

While the gang’s final send-off was emotional to say the least, Matthew has confessed that he would have preferred things to draw to a close slightly differently.

Ahead of Friends: The Reunion, which features Matthew, Courteney, Jennifer, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow and Matt LeBlanc reminiscing on their time on the show, the cast were asked what advice they would give to their younger selves before it began.

Speaking to People, Matthew said: ‘Do an eleventh season.’

Jennifer, 52, said that she ‘wouldn’t change anything’, stating: ‘Nothing to warn or be aware of.’

Phoebe Buffay actor Lisa, 57, chimed in: ‘It would be like, “This might get scary but don’t worry, you’ve got these five people.”’

‘“That will always have your back”,’ Jennifer added. ‘We’ll be family for life.’
