‘Dana Let’s Make It Happen!’- Carla Esparza Demands a Rematch Against Rose Namajunas After Destroying Yan Xiaonan

The former UFC women’s strawweight champion, Carla Esparza, continued on her amazing winning run after she beat Yan Xiaonan in their UFC Vegas 27 match-up. Esparza used her wrestling to completely nullify her opponent.

The American has now won five fights in a row and is primed for a title shot against the new champion Rose Namajunas. She finished Xiaonan in the second round after getting into the crucifix position and unleashing a vicious ground-and-pound.

Her win was so dominant that she landed an incredible 101 strikes in the first round (170 in the fight). Thereafter, the 18-6 fighter went and called for the title shot that she rightfully deserves.

I want a chance to fight for that title. I think it’s an intriguing fight that everyone wants to see. C’mon Dana, let’s make it happen,Esparza told UFC commentator Paul Felder in her post-fight interview. This won’t be the first time that she would be fighting Namajunas.
