‘How Do You Turn That Down’- Mike Tyson All In for Kamaru Usman vs Jake Paul

Former UFC double champion, Henry Cejudo, recently appeared on Mike Tyson’s Hotboxin’ podcast along with his manager Ali Abdelaziz of Dominance MMA. Abdelaziz also manages the current UFC welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman. Hence, Cejudo also shares a close bond with ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’.

‘The Messenger’ told ‘Iron’ Mike that he wants to see a boxing match between Usman and Jake Paul. Tyson, who liked the idea, believed it would be hard for Usman to turn down such an offer if he got the chance. ‘Iron’ was quick to point out that one can’t deny the monetary aspect of an event involving ‘The Problem Child’.

We are talking about Jake Paul again. He wants a piece of Kamaru too. Could you ever see a fight with Kamaru and Jake Paul?” Triple-C asked ‘Iron’. “I would see that sh*t. Listen, it’s gonna be so much f**king money. How do you turn that down? He’s gonna make twice or three times as much money than the UFC. How is he gonna turn it down?” Tyson replied.

Abdelaziz chimed into the conversation as well. “Me and Kamaru and Dana discussed it last Monday. We had a meeting actually. We had dinner. If Jake Paul wanna get his a** whooped by an African lion, then come and get it. Because at the end of the day he will milk this guy,” said the Dominance MMA manager.

Usman is expected to defend his welterweight throne against another contender from the shark tank at 170. Furthermore, Dana White has said that none of his contracted fighters would fight Jake Paul. Hence, it remains to be seen what’s next in the Usman-Paul saga.

Jake Paul vs Kamaru Usman: Will it be a huge payday for ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’?

Fighters have been vocal about the UFC’s payment policy to their athletes for a considerable amount of time now. Many believe that the fighters are severely underpaid. Considering this, the promotions’ biggest stars are always looking to capitalize on chances of getting paid elsewhere.

The Problem Child‘ has certainly made a name for himself with his antics, both inside and outside the ring. So, if offered, and if he has White’s blessings, ‘The Nigerian Nightmare‘ will gladly take the opportunity to step inside the squared ring against ‘The Problem Child’.
