Ex-Trainer Warns Tyson Fury of Early Danger in Deontay Wilder Trilogy: “It’s a Demolition One Way or Not”

After much rigmarole and discussions, the trilogy between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury is finally on the cards. Although there’s no official confirmation from both the fighters’ promotions, it is still reported that this bout will take place on July 24th.

Recently, Wilder’s ex-trainer, Ben Davison, opened up on this trilogy saga and offered his take on how he envisions this fight to go.

Speaking to Fight Hype, he said, “Yeah, I think it will because just being Wilder will have to have the mentality of 3-4 rounds.

“Just me or you’re gonna come out and let my hands go. If that man’s letting his hands go, he’s dangerous, so yeah. I think, you know, it’s a demolition one way or not. I can’t say, but I do think Wilder won’t be coming out looking to start patiently.”

The first fight between ‘The Gypsy King’ and Wilder caught everyone’s eye. Because Fury was one of those few fighters who fought the Alabama native till the final bell.

The Brit fared extremely well in this encounter and gave his absolute best to stagger Wilder. Yet, this fight ended in a tragic draw.

However, in their rematch, it was the Tyson Fury show that the boxing fans enjoyed. He annihilated Wilder to the pulp and handed ‘The Bronze Bomber’ his very first career loss.
