Heidi Klum is a known fan of nudism, but her children aren’t impressed as they plead with her to cover up.

The German supermodel, 50, shares four teenage children with ex partners Flavio Briatore and musician Seal: Leni, 19, Henry, 18, Johan, 16, and Lou, 13.

And while she’s keen on nude beaches, and no stranger to showing off her body, her kids aren’t as keen on the star practising nudism at home.

She revealed on Wednesday’s episode of Vall her Daddy podcast that she’s often topless at home and in the garden, and her kids will tell her: ‘My friend is coming over mom, put your top on!’

‘And I’m like, “When have I ever not had a top on when your friend was coming oer? Of course I will.’ But they always make sure.’

Adding that her kids give her ‘a little warning,’ she joked: ‘Don’t worry, I don’t want to flash anyone just to flash someone, I just don’t love tan lines.’

The same conversation saw eldest daughter Leni reflect on how Heidi was often nude when she was growing up, ‘tanning topless at the pool’ when she had friends or even a boyfriend over/

‘I’d be so embarrassed … I never see my friend’s moms tanning naked at the pool. But I thought it was normal.’

Heidi isn’t shy about showing off her topless looks even to strangers online, as last year she shared a snap of herself lounging topless to Instagram.

Avoiding those dratted tan lines, Heidi shared a video of herself covering her modesty with one arm, while panning the camera down to show off her bikini bottoms as her adorable dogs ran around the garden.

She also posed for naked photographs with husband Tom Kaulitz to celebrate their wedding anniversary, which she then posted to Instagram.
