Florence machete rampage sees ‘3 kids under 10 and 1 adult hurt’ with suspect Kyle Seeley barricaded in building

A MAN allegedly attacked three children in his family and his brother with a machete on Tuesday morning and has now barricaded himself in a garage.

He has been identified by Florence-Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office deputies as Kyle Seeley.

The three children attacked are all under the age of ten and their relationship to Seeley is not clear.

One of the children was airlifted to Children’s of Alabama hospital.

Another was transported to North Alabama Medical Center, WAAYTV reports.

Their condition and the severity of their injuries is not clear.

Seely’s brother has also been airlifted to UAB.

A SWAT team is currently on the scene and residents are asked to avoid the area.
