The Friends: The Reunion cast have been looking back at some of their favourite moments from the history of the hugely popular show – as well as some they’d rather forget.
Fans have been waiting patiently for the highly-anticipated special to arrive in the UK, and a new teaser trailer sees the stars looking back at the priceless moment which saw Joey actor Matt LeBlanc fall over in spectacular style.
The clip sees Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer look back at the time Matt went head over heels while filming on the Central Perk set.
Matt gets back up quickly with a big smile on his face after dashing towards the famous sofas in the hilarious outtake, sending his castmates and the audience into hysterics.
Looking back at the moment, Matthew says: ‘You ran in. He looked at his mark and tripped. I was like, “Somebody is getting a laugh, I can’t handle it. I need to get a laugh.”’
The footage then shows Matthew launching himself at Matt’s chair in the next take, getting another big laugh from the audience.
The new special looks back at the massively popular sitcom 17 years after it ended.
It sees the actors reflecting on their time on Friends, as well as a huge list of celebrity fans sharing their experiences as fans of the show. It’s also set to be very emotionally charged, so get the tissues ready.
Maggie Wheeler (Janice), James Michael Tyler (Gunther), Reese Witherspoon (Jill), and Tom Selleck (Richard) also appear, but many fans are upset by the absence of Paul Rudd, who played Phoebe’s husband Mike in the show.
The Friends reunion has already landed HBO Max in the US, and it’s been confirmed Sky One will be broadcasting Friends: The Reunion from 8pm on May 27.
