Sex And The City actor Eddie Driscoll has died aged 60.

The star also held roles in Entourage, Mad Men, The Last Ship and This Is Us.

He died from a saddle pulmonary embolism after being diagnosed with stomach cancer, it has been revealed, by his friend and fellow actor Jimmy Palumbo, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Driscoll also appeared on the likes of Days Of Our Lives, CSI: Miami, and Desperate Housewives.

He was best known for his recurring role as Randall Croft in sci-fi series The Last Ship, for seven episodes in 2016.

He is survived by his brother Danny.
