‘You’ll look naked’ people gasp as woman asks if her slinky, body-con dress is ‘too bland’ for a May summer wedding

A WOMAN has been slated after sharing a snap of the ”sexy” wedding dress, which she thinks is ”too bland”.

If you’ve ever been invited to someone’s nuptials, you will know just how stressful if can be to find the perfect outfit – which is why one guest took to Reddit to seek advice from fellow social media users.

Unsure whether the bedazzled bodycon dress was ”too bland” for the summer wedding she’d received an invitation for, the guest also uploaded a photo of the outfit.

But despite thinking that the nude figure-hugging number may be a little too dull for the ceremony, the dress choice was soon brutally slammed by fellow Redditors.

”May summer wedding, too bland?” the fashionista wondered in her post, shared on the popular Weddingattireapproval page of the forum.

The gorgeous bardot-style maxi dress featured thousands of sparkly embellishments, ruched detailing around the bust area.

The nude-coloured frock, which enhanced the model‘s curves, also had a slit by the side, and the brand had paired the look with silver heels.

According to the guest, there was no set dress code – although she added that the tone was ”cocktail”.

The post was soon inundated with responses – and unfortunately for the style lover, it seems that barely anyone was a fan of the outfit, or approved of it.

Over a dozen of fellow Redditors raced to comments to share their thoughts on the frock, which many reckoned was not fit for a wedding.

One said: ”I think it’s a bit ‘in your face’, however it depends on how people normally dress where you are.”

Someone else wondered if the woman really was planning on arriving to the ceremony wearing the bedazzled gown, writing: ”Are you trolling?”

”I think you will draw the wrong kind of attention with a nude coloured dress like this. That’s my honest opinion,” penned another who advised her to find an alternative.

Not only did some insist the dress was ”too nude” in their eyes, there were also those who reckoned the gown was ”too bridal” and the nude shade – depending on her skin tone – may leave her looking ”naked” to other guests.

Meanwhile, another Reddit user chimed in, describing the dress as ”a bit tacky”.

”Unless I am 100% sure all women dress extravagantly, the bride will be in an over the top dress and will actually expect her wedding guests to dress like this, I would definitely stay away from nude + full sparkle + sexy cut.

”At a Dutch wedding, you would be considered a bit tacky if you would show up in this if formal is the dress code.”
