All the times Kate Middleton has dressed like a Disney princess – and she’s got Prince William in on the action too

FOR millions of people across the world, the idea of sticking on a tiara and a floaty dress and dancing round with their Prince Charming is the unfulfilled dream of childhood.

How many of us actually get the carriages, palaces and parties of the royals? Pretty much none.

Princess Kate fulfilled the dreams of a young girl yesterday by turning up to meet her dressed in pink

Except, of course, with one exception.

Kate Middleton has made the Disney-fuelled dreams of the masses her reality but it’s not just her marital status that makes her a princess.

The Duchess of Cambridge, despite being a royal of modern times, still manages to dazzle us with fairytale-style ensembles from time to time.

Here we run through our favourite of her fanciful styles, as well as the Disney-esq outfits of some of the other royals.

Belle of the ball

Kate wore this beautiful bright yellow frock while channeling her inner Belle from Beauty and the Beast

Not to be outdone by his blushing bride, Prince William also looked ever bit the fairytale at the couple’s wedding

Kate channeled her inner Jasmine in this stunning clue and green dress with draping… and what’s the beneath her? Could it be a magic carpet…

But it’s not just Kate who’s wardrobe is a nod to the Disney stars of our childhood.

We’ve long been looking for magic and fairytales from our royals and when it comes to their clothes, they always deliver.

Princess Beatrice and Eugenie in their pink and blue frocks have been compared to Cinderella’s step sisters if Drizella’s dress was just a little more blue, it could be a perfect match!
