Emmerdale shock as Kim Tate finally discovers she is being poisoned – and hatches revenge plan

EMMERDALE fans are in shock after Kim Tate finally discovered she was being poisoned – and hatched a revenge plan.

The scheming soap star – who is played by actress Claire King in the ITV soap – discovered the shocking news after getting a blood test done.

When Lydia was struggling to cope after drinking a single brandy, Kim realised there was something wrong with the drink.

Calling her doctor, she had more blood tests done – and finally discovered the truth about her mystery illness.

After getting the results back, the doctor returned to tell Kim what they found.

“The toxicology says there are benzodiazapenes in your system,” she said. 

“It could indicate you’ve taken diazepam. We can’t be sure how much you’ve taken but it’s a lot – and it’s recent.”

But as the doctor asked Kim where she got it from, she shockingly covered for her poisoner.

Lying, she told the doctor: “I got them from my medicine cabinet, from a while back – my old doctor prescribed them for me when I was stressed. 

“I won’t be taking any more.”

Kim quickly set about laying a trap to expose her poisoner – and decided to host a dinner party with all her suspects.

She made sure Gabby was invited, setting the scene for an explosive episode on Monday.

And fans cannot wait to see Kim take her revenge.
