Amanda Holden had to turn down a big-money deal judging on Australia’s Got Talent

IS there nothing Amanda Holden can’t impress TV execs with?

Not only has she been offered a role in Aussie soap Neighbours, but she has also had to turn down a big-money deal judging on Australia’s Got Talent.

She has said no to an offer worth £800,000 – due to other work commitments.

A TV insider revealed: “Amanda’s appeal is universal. She brings the style and glamour but also a care-free humour and infectious laugh.

“Sadly, with international travel restrictions on top of a hectic UK work schedule – Heart Breakfast, I Can See Your Voice, BGT and a new show for Channel 4 – she can only be in so many places at once.

“Fingers crossed, Amanda will be able to juggle things around in the diary for 2022.”

The insider added: “Amanda’s always been a big Ramsay Street fan and has a huge Aussie fanbase. She’s hoping she can make the dates work next year.”

It’s a sure way to boost Neighbours ratings.
