Fans have recreated the GTA 6 trailer with live action scenes of Jason and Lucia, and actual locations, as it’s branded a ‘masterpiece’ by fans.
GTA 6 is not set to release until next year at the earliest and there hasn’t been any new official news, about the most-anticipated game ever, since the reveal trailer back in December.
This has led to fans trying to uncover new details about the game, which has resulted in the possible discovery of the actors behind the two main protagonists.
Some fans have gone beyond internet sleuthing and one group has recreated the trailer, almost frame by frame, with their own live action re-enactment.
YouTuber Andrew Levitt, who has done GTA comparison videos in the past, posted the video, which shows many of the same locations as in the actual trailer, such as South Beach, Ocean Drive, and the Everglades.
Levitt and an unknown woman are acting all of Jason and Lucia’s scenes, mouthing their lines, while Tom Petty’s Love Is A Long Road plays in the background.
The two also re-enact the robbery scenes, hopefully with the store owner’s permission, but with bananas instead of guns.
Unsurprisingly, the video has gone viral on social media, especially on the GTA 6 subreddit, where fans have unanimously praised the video.
‘Probably the best of all the trailer remakes,’ said TenBear.
‘This is too good, appreciate the dedication it took to recreate this,’ Atari said on YouTube.
‘He needs some type of trophy for this masterpiece,’ said Electric Times.

Levitt’s video is similar to what the Hyundai rally team did earlier this year, when they acted out the GTA 6 trailer too, much to their fans’ amusement.
The excitement for GTA 6 is understandable, as the series has a huge fan base and it’s been 11 years since GTA 5 came out. There’s no clue as to when the next trailer will be released though and, at the moment, no credible rumours either.
