This Morning star Michelle Elman was left devastated after finding out her fiancé was cheating on her.

The 31-year-old body confidence coach and author has shared a heartbreaking video with her social media followers and revealed she was engaged for just one day before splitting from her partner of three years, who she started dating during the pandemic.

‘All this f***ing sucks, I was engaged for 24 hours,’ she said in the emotional video. She explained how the last time her Instagram followers heard from her, she had just got engaged, but that was no longer the case.

She said: ‘I’m not anymore.

‘The day I posted that engagement photo is the day I found out he had been cheating on me and one of the women he was cheating on me with actually followed me and that’s how I found out.

‘She’s a lovely woman, and she didn’t know, and you’ve got to love his taste in women. You’ve got to laugh. We’re laughing and crying a lot over here.’

Michelle, who had been single for eight years before meeting her now-ex, made it clear she ‘obviously’ had no idea he was being unfaithful before agreeing to marry him.

‘If someone wants to actively deceive you they will,’ she continued, while noting that her experience should dispel a misconception about people in her profession.

‘When it comes to life coaches there’s this illusion that we’re perfect, that we’re all knowing or we have our lives together,’ she said. ‘That’s not true, I’ve always said we are five steps ahead and that’s how we are able to teach people.’

Crying, she added: ‘My own life coach says we never let a good crisis go to waste, and this is a crisis.’

Although she initially told her fans she ‘f**ks up more than you’, she quickly corrected herself and pointed out that he’s the one who messed up this time.

‘I’ll rephrase that I didn’t f**k up he did. He f***ed up a really good thing. And it was a really good thing,’ she said.

Despite her heartbreak, she still believes in ‘love’ and she wants people to ‘keep hope’, while she insisted people insulting her ex and the idea of fans trying to find him online is ‘not making me feel better’.

And when one follower suggested ‘he did you a favour’, she argued: ‘He didn’t do me a favour, she did. I have so much respect for the bravery she had to DM an hour after my post had gone live.’

Her fans and famous friends flooded her post with messages of support, including former Loose Women star Andrea McLean.

‘Oh Michelle… I’m sorry to hear this,’ she wrote, while body confidence model Honey Ross – whose father is chat show host Jonathan Ross – added: ‘I love you.’
