Eagle-eyed Ariana Grande fans have been left stumped after her butterfly tattoos mysteriously vanished from her arms.

The singer, 27, has a number of prominent inkings, including the winged insects on her upper arms.

The star recently got married to husband Dalton Gomez after getting engaged in December and, in pictures of the couple, her body art seems to have gone.

Ariana wore a Vera Wang white dress on her big day which left her arms and shoulders on show.

In addition to the butterflies, Ariana’s tattoo of the Pokemon character Eevee was also nowhere to be seen.

Noting the missing tattoos on Instagram, one fan wrote: ‘Yo! Ari!!! Where are the butterflies?’, while another remarked: ‘Where have your tattoos gone?’

Another fan added: ‘Did ariana’s butterfly tattoo’s fly away or what?’

‘Ariana covering up her arm tattoos for her wedding really shows that all the money and fame in the world can’t save you from the guilt trip of your Italian mother,’ someone else remarked.

Some followers assumed she had covered up the markings with make-up but the quote from movie The Truman Show was still on her back.

On Thursday night, Ari attended the iHeartRadio Music Awards where her tattoos were also nowhere to be seen.

The warbler got debuted the butterflys at the Grammys in 2020 but she is yet to explain why they’ve vanished.

Ariana tied the knot on May 15 and confirmed the news afterwards on social media.

She shared a picture of herself Dalton online, writing the date and a silver heart emoji in the caption.

Her dress was a stunning floor length white gown with a dramatic low cut back, which she teamed with a cute, white veil that had a bow on the front.

The couple’s venue had been decorated with flowers hanging down from the ceiling and candles dotted around as they shared their first dance.

In one lovely shot Dalton picked up his bride in his arms and leaned in to kiss her neck as Ariana put her arms around him and smiled.

The star was given away by her mum Joan and dad Ed, Vogue revealed, watched on by less than 20 guests and her rescue dog Toulouse.

It comes after TMZ first shared that the Dangerous Woman singer, 27, married the realtor in a private ceremony.

The star’s rep then confirmed to People that the wedding was a small affair attended by their nearest and dearest.

They said: ‘They got married. It was tiny and intimate — less than 20 people.

‘The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn’t be happier.’

Ariana and Dalton were first spotted together at Bar Louie in Northridge, California in February last year.

The couple went public with their romance last May, when Dalton made a surprise cameo in her music video to track Stuck With U – a collaboration with Justin Bieber.

Dalton was the second engagement for the superstar who was previously set to marry comedian Pete Davidson.
