Kendrick Lamar somehow dragged a famous Hollywood child star into his ongoing feud with Drake – but it appears to have been a big mistake.

Tensions between rappers Kendrick, 36, and Drake, 37, have escalated in recent weeks with the pair releasing brutal diss tracks about each other after years of rivalry.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, Swimming Pools rapper Kendrick released his latest diss track, Euphoria, which sees him completely eviscerate his rap rival over the span of six minutes.

One particular line has drawn attention with Kendrick appearing to make reference to Haley Joel Osment, who rose to fame starring in horror movie The Sixth Sense. However, fans are convinced the rapper mistakenly confused Haley, 36, with Joel Osteen, a famous pastor with a similar name.

Kendrick raps: ‘Am I battlin’ ghost or AI? N***a feelin’ like Joel Osteen / Funny, he was in a film called AI / And my sixth sense tellin’ me to off him.’

It was Haley who starred in both 2001’s AI and 1999’s The Sixth Sense but Kendrick appears to suggest it was Osteen.

However, it’s possible the mix-up was intentional to show the confusion over not knowing which version of Drake he is clashing with.

The reference to AI is likely also a double-entendre in the sense that Drake used AI to replicate Tupac’s voice to rap a verse on his most recent diss track, Taylor Made Freestyle.

Fans were left scratching their heads over actor Haley being dragged into the feud, with X user JackSolomonETU commenting: ‘Kendrick confusing Haley Joel Osment with Joel Osteen is so f*****g funny, he didn’t even Google s**t, just walked into the booth mad as hell lmaooo.’

DannyVegito reacted: ‘Incredible diss work from Kendrick but unfortunately he mistook Haley Joel Osment for Joel Osteen so now he needs to chime in on the beef.’

Highly amused at the situation, ZakKondratenko tweeted: ‘I’m sorry but I cannot stop laughing at Kendrick mixing up AI/Sixth Sense child actor Haley Joel Osment and televangelist grifter Joel Osteen.’

RetroJACE added: ‘I just wish i was in the room as a movie expert to let Kendrick know that he mixed up Joel Osteen (the televangelist preacher) with Haley Joel Osment (the child actor who starred in A.I. and The 6th Sense) other than that though? no notes. 9/10. Madness.’

The epic rap beef recently exploded when Kendrick unleashed a tirade on Drake on the track Like That featuring Future and Metro Boomin. On the track, he denounced rap’s ‘Big 3’ which consists of himself, Drake and J Cole, saying: ‘Motherf**k the big three, n***a, it’s just big me.’

Drake then fired back with two diss tracks, Push Ups and then Taylor Made Freestyle.

He appears to have responded to Kendrick’s Euphoria in his Instagram stories, sharing a clip of Julia Stiles reading a savage poem in rom-com 10 Things I Hate About You alongside heartbroken and winking emoji.
