Reality star Gemma Collins got candid about her pregnancies as she tearfullyretold her hurtful termination story.

The former Towie favourite has long been open about her desire to be a mum, and over the past eight years Gemma, 43, has publicly shared her experiences with multiple miscarriages, PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) and her fertility journey.

Now, the TV personality emotionally has opened up about the ‘really stressful’ advice she received from her doctors to terminate a previous pregnancy.

‘They advised me you need to have a termination. I remember that being really stressful. That hurt me,’ she told the Daily Mail’s Everything I Know About Me podcast as her voice cracked.

Elsewhere in the chat she spoke about a time she was pregnant while her (unnamed) partner was ‘having an affair’ which left her ‘heartbroken’.

It is not made clear if this is the same pregnancy she was told to end.

People may be recommended to end their pregnancy if the baby is not developing as expected, such as a foetal anomaly, or if the mother or baby’s life is at risk due to complications.

According to the NHS there are two types of pregnancy terminations, medical (through medication) or surgical (a removal procedure).

The teaser for the new episode also revealed Gemma talking about having an operation to get a ‘designer vagina’, while passionately clarifying she doesn’t have ‘cameltoe’.

Gemma previously opened up about a ‘traumatising’ miscarriage she suffered in 2012, without realising she was ever pregnant.

‘I actually gave birth to a child, sadly, and basically the child was four months old, basically I miscarried but obviously the baby was formed and it died in front of me,’ she told the BBC in 2020.

She was left ‘in shock and upset’ after the ordeal.

As far back as 2021 the Essex diva has spoken about her hopes to start a family with long-term partner Rami Hawash.

In July last year she posted to Instagram to give her followers a fertility update, stating that she ‘can’t get pregnant’ due to PCOS and an underactive thyroid.

In an interview with OK! Magazine in April, Gemma shared that she and her fiance Rami are visiting a fertility clinic to see if there are ‘any complications.

‘I’m nowhere near menopause yet so that will hopefully take the pressure off as I was panicking a bit,’ the Big Brother star added.

Gemma is stepmum to Rami’s six-year-old son Tristan. ‘We’re going to relax and put it into God’s hands to see what happens. What’s meant to be will be,’ Rami said.

Gemma’s episode in season two of the Everything I Know About Me podcast will be out on May 9.
