Logan Paul has offered a simple response after WWE fans flooded social media with complaints over his next big match.

The controversial social media megastar and Prime energy co-founder has made a seamless transition from YouTube to the wrestling ring, with a string of high profile performances defying his critics.

However, on SmackDown it was revealed Logan. who holds the United States Title, will challenge Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes in Saudi Arabia.

Three months ago, he tweeted ‘I watch Cody’ seemingly in response to the social media campaign pulling for the American Nightmare to replace The Rock in the main event of WrestleMania 40, which he did.

But after fierce backlash over his upcoming bout, Logan suggested this was his plan all along, as he shared the post and added: ‘I get what I want.’

As confirmed by general manager Nick Aldis, on May 25, the two champions will collide it what appears to be a title versus title bout at the King and Queen of the Ring premium live event.

The blunt tweet certainly suggests Logan has been pulling for this match behind the scenes, and he looks to have his wish.

Fans were raging about the bout, with many people claiming the 29-year-old influencer turned pro wrestler hasn’t done enough to earn the match.

In Logan’s defence, he has put together a fantastic portfolio in the ring, and has already challenged for the world championship before, also in Saudi Arabia, when he lost to Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel 2022.

‘What did Logan Paul do to deserve a title shot? He doesn’t even defend the US title,’ argued @Todd_of_War, with Logan’s last defence coming at WrestleMania 40 against Kevin Owens and Randy Orton.

‘Aside from publicity, why does Logan Paul deserve a title shot? He’s barely defended the title he has,’ agreed @combatfaerie, while @JarrinWasHere asked: ‘Why does Logan Paul deserve a title shot? #Smackdown’

X user @heathermayrie ranted: ‘Dude, Logan Paul has not earned the right to face Cody. #Smackdown’

‘I’m confused on how Logan earned a title match [with] Cody when he’s done literally nothing 😭😭 but he’s a good wrestler n I think da match will be good,’ tweeted @__lilski.

‘Not sure Logan Paul earned a WWE title shot. But this is brilliant to keep the crowd support for Cody strong as a babyface,’ argued @3EmmysForMo.

‘Logan Paul knows how to get heat. As we’re witnessing right now. I approve of this matchup.’

WWE SmackDown airs Friday nights at 1am on TNT Sports 1. King and Queen of the Ring airs on May 25 via the WWE Network.
