Jonathan Bailey has left fans hot under the collar after posting a photo taken after completing a Half Marathon.

The Bridgerton star, 36, has appeared in all three seasons of the hit Netflix series, and will soon make a cameo in the upcoming third season of Heartstopper.

But away from the cameras, the actor recently completed an impressive fitness feat.

This weekend he was one of around 20,000 people to take part in Hackney Moves, London’s biggest and most popular half marathon.

Ahead of the event, Jonathan put the call-out for donations, as he was fundraising for Just Like Us, the LGBT+ young people’s charity, which works with schools and young people across the UK.

After completing the Half Marathon, Jonathan posted a photo looking pretty exhausted and thanked those who had supported him.

‘THANK YOU for your continued knockout donations to @justlikeusuk and to everyone at @hackneymoves for making this a very special day for thousands of people,’ he wrote.

However, many people were somewhat distracted by how the actor still managed to look impressive even after running 13 miles.

Some simply shared memes of Bridgerton characters looking flustered, while others shared multiple fire emojis.

Another fan joked his bicep was ‘bigger than my head’.

Someone else said the snap was ‘breaking the gay internet’.

However, remembering the good cause behind the event, others congratulated him and said they donated what they could.

Commenting too, the charity shared: ‘Thank you so much, Jonny! And a huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far – you will help change the lives of so many LGBT+ young people.’

To date, Jonathan has raised an impressive £31,908.

Earlier this month the actor revealed the significance of joining teen drama Heartstopper, revealing it was also a project he begged to be a part of.

‘Like so many people, I watched the first [season] and thought it was one of the biggest, most beautiful gifts to so many people, and I wish I had that growing up,’ he said.

‘I had a mutual friend who knows [executive producer Patrick Walters] and I just said, “If there’s anything I could do to help and be a part of that story”,’ he explained when being interview by Variety on the Met Gala red carpet this week.

Although he wasn’t able to give details about how many days he spent shooting for the show, Jonathan did praise the series, which is based on Alice Oseman’s graphic novel series of the same name.

‘It really has changed the way people can grow and communicate around who they are,’ he continued.

‘It’s not just for our community. It’s for every person who is a member of a family who has a member of the LGBT+ community. It helps all of us.’

Bridgerton and Heartstopper are streaming on Netflix.
